How it works and limits

Enter decimals or fractions such as -1/2. The end must exceed the start, and the interval must be positive. Ticks start at the range start and stop at or before the end; the end is labeled only when an interval reaches it. Limits: 2–101 ticks and 1–6 lines; the minimum interval is 0.000000001. Repeated rounded labels require a larger interval. Values are rounded to nine decimals; decimal labels to six. Fraction labels use denominators up to 1,000 when representable, otherwise decimals. Crowded labels require a larger interval or hidden labels. Inputs are processed locally and are not saved or sent anywhere. Printer margins and browser fonts may affect the output.
