Formula and example
Paid minutes = end time minus start time minus unpaid break. Overnight adds 24 hours before subtracting the break. A 09:00–17:00 shift with a 30-minute break totals 7h 30m or 7.5 hours. Daily totals group by start date; weeks begin Monday.
Limits and assumptions
Minute precision with no automatic rounding, overtime, wage calculation, or payroll compliance rules. Shifts can last up to 24 hours; select Overnight for next-day end times. Equal times mean zero hours unless Overnight is selected. Clock-time arithmetic does not adjust for daylight saving. Overnight hours belong to the start date. Up to 100 shifts. All processing is local; inputs are not stored or transmitted. Optional logos are processed locally, are not uploaded or saved, and must be at most 5 MB and 20 million pixels. Print the document at normal scale and turn off browser headers and footers.
